Redcliffe Hockey Club

The Reddy To Play program provides children aged four to twelve with the opportunity to learn the basic skills of hockey and have a lot of fun along the way. This fantastic four week introductory program, is run on our grass fields at the Redcliffe Leagues Hockey Club at the start of every season.  Every player receives a beginners equipment pack that includes: hockey stick, hockey ball, shin guards, mouth guard & stick bag.

After this program, you have the option to continue with hockey for a full season by either signing up for Redsticks or our Junior Girls/Boys teams.

WHEN: Saturday mornings 8:15am - 9:30am

DATES: Saturday 22 Feb - 15 March

WHO: Children aged 4 to 12 years

WHERE: Redcliffe Turf, corner Oxley Avenue and Lamington Drive Redcliffe.

COST: $65 per player

Redsticks Program is an internal competition for girls and boys aged 4 to 12 years who are new or relatively new to the game of hockey. The aim is to teach children the basic skills and rules of the game in a fun, friendly environment, close to home and at the same time and place every week. Each session commences with drills and skills and afterwards children break up into teams and play games against each other testing out their newly learnt skills.
